We’re on a mission to radically change the way financial institutions understand and serve their customers. Instead of asking what the customer wants, we help them figure out what they need — before they even know it themselves.

At Predicti, we’ve built three core products already used by banks and insurance companies

Data – A massive, intelligently connected database of all publicly available information, collected and structured to be easily accessible in one place.

Advisor – A smart recommendation engine. Customers get personalized insurance suggestions based on the behavior of people who resemble them.

Life Events – We identify key moments in people’s lives (e.g. buying a house) using public data. Next step? Future Life Events – predicting what’s about to happen, so our customers can proactively reach out with the right offer at the right time.

To support all of this, we’re building Data Integrator – a distributed data processing system based on Apache Kafka. We’ve already transitioned from TypeScript to Java, the foundation is in place, and now we’re ready to scale up, speed up development, and bring the system into high-performance reality.

What will you be doing

You’ll be a key player in the further development and scaling of Data Integrator. Working closely with a small, ambitious team of developers and data scientists, you’ll help build a robust and scalable system that can handle massive volumes of real-time and historical data.

Need to have

• Proven experience as a Senior Backend Engineer, Senior Software Engineer or similar role.

• Expertise working with Java and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or other distributed event streaming platforms.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Knowledge of other programming languages like Scala, SQL or TypeScript.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Previous experience in a startup or high-growth tech company.
