Software Engineer (Java/Scala/Python)
No one can predict the future. Or can they?
At Predicti, we’re doing our very best to prove otherwise – and so far, we think we’re doing pretty well. Together with banks and insurance companies, we use data to identify key life events and reach people exactly when their needs change. Our Data Hub is the backbone of that mission, and this is where you come in.
You’ll join a small, ambitious team – one data scientist and one software engineer – working closely together to deliver robust, scalable solutions for our Data Hub.
But enough about us – let’s talk about you!
You’re the kind of person who gets motivated – maybe even a bit provoked – when someone says something can’t be done. You’re a person of action, practical in your solutions. Some might call you a perfectionist, but the truth is you love optimising and improving the status quo – and you thrive when surrounded by the best in their field!
You love setting goals and get a kick out of meeting deadlines, and you’ll fit right into a startup environment where we often lay the tracks while the train is moving.
And last but not least, you have a “focus mode” button that’s your best friend when you need to shut out the world and deliver without distractions.
Back to us – and the tasks we need your help with:
Build and optimise APIs for data ingestion, transformation and delivery
Collaborate with data scientists to turn models and prototypes into production-ready solutions
Write maintainable, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
Troubleshoot and debug issues across environments
Integrate with external systems and data sources securely and efficiently
Stay up to date with new technologies and bring fresh ideas to the team
We imagine you:
Have solid experience with Java og Scala (Spring Boot experience is a plus)
Are comfortable working with APIs, databases, and cloud environments
Have a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
Thrive in a collaborative environment but can also work independently
Enjoy solving complex problems and learning new technologies
What you’ll (also) love about working with us:
You’ll join a fast-growing fintech startup that’s constantly pushing the boundaries of what the financial sector can offer. While we’re pushing limits, we also prioritise wellbeing.
For example, we bring the whole gang together twice a year for Predicti Days – in October, we’re flying to Vilnius. We’re into escape rooms, great food, board games, sports and much more.
Flexibility means different things to different people – to us, it means you work in a way that makes sense for both you and your tasks. We love spending time together (really!), but sometimes you’ve got to pick up the kids, sign for a package, or just not work 8 to 4. We trust you to plan your week in a way that works.
Also – we’re foodies. Lunch? Taken care of – and it’s good.
Got a hobby we don’t know yet? Bring it on. We’re always up for a challenge and eager to learn something new.
We can’t wait to hear from you!
